The Pakistan Stockbrokers Association has requested tax breaks on capital gains and stock market investments.
At the finance division, Shaukat Tarin met with a Pakistan Stockbrokers Association delegation led by vice chairman Zahid Latif Khan. The delegation informed the Finance Minister of obstacles limiting the growth of the capital market in Pakistan and requested government assistance in resolving them.
They asked for tax breaks on capital gains and stock market investments.
Tarin stated that the government is encouraging investment and stock exchange registration.
He reassured the delegation of his support for their challenges and the growth of Pakistan’s capital market.
