Shopify has joined the “link in bio” market with “Linkpop.” The new service allows authors to sell things straight from their Linkpop page. Creators and merchants can post crucial links on their pages and open shops to sell directly to their fans. Consumers may then browse a Shopify merchant’s product assortment and purchase straight on Linkpop without leaving the app.
Shopify merchants can create accounts and add shoppable links to their pages. They can link to webpages, articles, videos, and playlists. Shoppable links immediately sync with a merchant’s product catalogue to display all relevant product information. A merchant can share up to 200 links on Linkpop once registered.
Merchants can use Linkpop’s built-in analytics tools to better understand how customers interact with their page. They can see analytics like link clicks and unique visitors. Merchants can also change the background colour, logo, typeface, and other elements of their Linkpop page. You can also attach images to URLs.
“Today’s merchants and creators are using many channels to communicate with customers, and that number will only grow,” said Amir Kabbara, Shopify’s product director. We’ve built Linkpop to unify all links retailers post throughout social media. Even better, we made it a shoppable site, so you can buy things directly on Linkpop, benefiting both merchants and buyers.”
