United Bank of Pakistan has partnered with Safepay to provide digital acceptance solutions for retailers and SMEs.
With this agreement, Safepay and UBL will work together to help businesses in Pakistan go cashless. With Safepay’s payment gateway technology and merchant-focused features, retailers may interact with domestic and international customers via different online payment alternatives.
Any regulated payment service provider (PSP) must have a settlement bank, and Safepay has teamed with UBL to satisfy the online demands of their common target market. In order to build a sustainable platform for Safepay, the company invested in partnerships that will allow businesses in Pakistan to seamlessly integrate.
According to the press release, Pakistan’s ecommerce market would continue to grow rapidly in the next years. To encourage this expansion, traditional and emerging actors must collaborate to facilitate and give access across all tiers.
