Qureos, an edtech and remote work marketplace located in the UAE, wants to extend its platform tenfold this year to create 100 million jobs in the following few years. The startup announced today that it has raised $3 million in pre-seed funding.
Qureos was formed in August by Alexander Epure, Mehrad Yaghmai, and Usama Nini to make mentorship more accessible to those just starting out or looking to alter careers.
The startup has evolved into a platform that facilitates cohort-based synchronised learning taught by industry professionals (mentors).
Qureos also assigns tasks to its trainees based on their academic interests.
In addition to ex-Swvl personnel, Qureos CEO Epure and co-founder Nini are ex-Swvl employees.
