Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on E-Commerce, Senator Aon Abbas Bappi, has stated that the e-commerce industry in Pakistan is making a substantial contribution to the creation of employment prospects for young people.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, said today [Saturday] in Bahawalpur that his party, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, had established an E-Commerce policy for the first time in 2019, and that Pakistan is now the world’s third largest market for freelancing.
According to Aon Abbas Bappi, e-commerce is bringing in multi-billion-dollar investments into the country from around the world.
The students, he encouraged, should improve their technological abilities in order to transform Pakistan into a “Tech nation.”
