Government adjustments in the country’s system have been implemented in order to improve business opportunities and encourage economic growth. While chairing a meeting to examine a package for industrial and IT sector growth on Friday, Prime Minister Imran Khan said this.
According to the prime minister, the exchange rate will rise as a result of the government’s support for young freelancers. The government’s top priority is to increase domestic IT exports, he said.
According to the Prime Minister, the measures stated by the government must be put into action quickly in order to assure the availability of facilities and incentives for independent contractors and IT firms.
Incentives for freelancers are being prepared by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MoITT). Meeting participants were informed in depth on the current government’s efforts to support IT start-ups, industry, and existing businesses.
The prime minister’s recent industrial and IT sector package is currently being implemented, according to information shared at the meeting.
Thanks to government incentives, the number of freelancers in the country has increased significantly. The Pakistan Software Export Board Portal has made it possible for freelancers to register with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in a single step.
Freelancing remittances to Pakistan are facilitated by the SBP on a priority basis, and the meeting was apprised of these steps.
