The second cohort of Microsoft’s GrowthX Accelerator is now accepting applications from Pakistani B2B startups.
As part of its GrowthX Accelerator Program, Microsoft for New Companies Center East is now taking registrations for a second set of virtual conferences in the very successful Highway to 100 Unicorns virtual conference series.
Microsoft and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office have formed a strategic relationship that includes the GrowthX Accelerator and the Highway to 100 Unicorns (ADIO). Startups from all around the region, including Pakistan, have taken note of the initiatives and adapted them to their own purposes.
After first being announced in January of the next year, GrowthX Accelerator became live in May of that same year. The initiative aims to bring together corporations with problems and entrepreneurs that can develop field-ready solutions.. It provides commercial and technical resources and assistance to B2B IT firms, allowing them to develop faster.
When it comes to the innovation ecosystem in Abu Dhabi, “Startups are the lifeblood,” says Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, the head of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development.
This is why the Abu Dhabi government has launched initiatives like GrowthX Accelerator and Highway to 100 Unicorns, he said. Success in aiding startups may be shown in the advancement of these projects to the next step. We will keep moving forward to make sure that innovators in Abu Dhabi have access to all the tools and resources they need to make a significant difference.”
